Yes, today I am a grump. For good reason. I just got two fillings at the dentist. My first fillings ever. Fillings that apparently, because of their placement, are going to be painful and uncomfortable for me for the next few days. Well now the numbness in my mouth is wearing off and I am feeling that uncomfortable pain. It's like my mouth is bruised all over with an oh-so-wonderful random pinching feeling every now and then.
Yes, today I am a grump. Or at least for the time being. I am sitting here at work - swollen, puffy and in pain - with absoultely nothing to do. I am caught up ahead on all my work projects and so I predict that I will sit here twiddling my thumbs for the rest of the work day. Oh how I wish I was at home sulking in my warm, cozy bed...
Yes, today I am a grump. And sadly, this is the best I can do at the moment for my one-year blog anniversary post. Maybe I'll write again once my aspirin kicks in.
